Biography
I am attorney Cindy Crick. The focus of my practice is on Title IX/Student Misconduct Issues, Criminal Defense, and Government and Internal Investigations. I worked at Nelson Mullins after serving as Chief of Staff for Representative Trey Gowdy in the United States House of Representatives. Prior to that, I spent eight years as a state prosecutor in the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Spartanburg, SC. During that time, I led the Violence Against Women Unit and gained valuable experience prosecuting cases involving criminal domestic violence, sexual assault, harassment, and domestic homicide. I have extensive first-chair trial experience, a background in the scientific and technical issues of complex cases, and experience co-prosecuting a capital murder case.
